Gaikwad scored 79 runs in 50 balls with the help of three fours and seven sixes, while Conway scored 87 runs in 52 balls with the help of 11 fours and three sixes. Unfortunately, both the batsmen missed their century. Dhoni definitely came to bat in the last over but he got a chance to play only four balls on which he scored five runs. While left-handed batsman Ravindra Jadeja played a brilliant inning of 20 runs in seven balls with the help of three fours and a six.
Chasing the huge target of 223 runs, the Delhi Capitals team could only manage 146 runs in 20 overs at the loss of just nine wickets. Only captain David Warner played a good inning from DC. He scored 86 runs in 58 balls with the help of seven fours and five sixes.
