“Pathetic Umpiring” Harmanpreet Kaur lost her temper in the middle of the field: The final Women’s ODI match between Bangladesh and India (BAN vs IND) ended in a draw. India scored 225 runs in response to Bangladesh’s 225 runs. The result was a 1-1 tie for the three-match series. However, there was a contentious situation on the field the entire game. It was between the Indian team and the umpire, not between the players. Both of the match’s umpires were from Bangladesh. They made a lot of poor choices that hurt the Indian team. Harmanpreet Kaur’s unjustified dismissal was also included in this.
Indian team captain Harmanpreet Kaur was very angry after the ODI tie against Bangladesh. She raised questions on umpiring as soon as he went to the interview after the match. She said that “next time when he visits Bangladesh, She will prepare for this also”. Harmanpreet Kaur said- “I think we got to learn a lot from sports. Apart from cricket, the kind of umpiring that was happening, we were very surprised. Next time we come to Bangladesh, we will make sure we deal with this type of umpiring and prepare ourselves accordingly. Disappointing umpiring, we are quite disappointed with some of the umpiring decisions.”
