The 2024 T20 World Cup is looming around the corner and while the Pakistan Cricket Team will not be among the favorites, the Pakistan Cricket fans will be hoping that the Shaheens lift their second T20 World Cup trophy under the leadership of Babar Azam.
This year’s mega event will be kicking off in the West Indies and the USA from 2nd June and the buzz surrounding Pakistan’s potential squad for the World Cup has reached at a different level.
The Cricketing fortunes of the Shaheens have gone downwards in the last few years. From the dismal display in Asia Cup 2023 to their really poor performance in the 2023 ODI World Cup and the recent thrashing against New Zealand and Australia, the road to redemption for the Men in Green seems to be full of challenges.
