Team India Squad Announced for Asian Games 2023: The Indian team for the Asian Games in China was unveiled by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Friday. Ruturaj Gaikwad will appointed as the team’s captain, and they will play in the quarterfinals right away. On the basis of ranking, the team will receive direct entry into the final eight.
The Asian Games are not the first competition to feature cricket. Cricket had already appeared in these games twice before. However, neither the men’s nor the women’s teams were sent by the BCCI. In 2010 ,Bangladesh win the gold medal for men and Pakistan for women. Pakistan once again won gold for women in 2014, while Sri Lanka won gold for men. This will be the first time the Indian team competes in the Olympics. Everyone believes the young team will undoubtedly bring home a medal.
