In the match against Rajasthan on Wednesday night, Dhoni performed brilliantly and played a stormy inning of 32 runs in 17 balls. 5 runs were needed on the last ball and Sandeep Sharma bowled a brilliant yorker, Dhoni is usually seen hitting a helicopter shot on the yorker ball. But due to pain in his knee, he failed to play the shot, due to which Chennai had to face a three-run defeat.

Coach Stephen Fleming gave a big update

In just two overs against the Royals, Sisanda Magala gave up 14 runs without picking up a wicket. In the post-game press conference, CSK coach Stephen Fleming was questioned regarding any developments regarding Magala’s injury. Magala will be out for at least the next two weeks, according to Fleming, who verified that he damaged his finger. Over the course of the following two weeks, Chennai Super Kings will play three games. Following a match against Royal Challengers Bangalore in Bengaluru on April 17, they will play Sunrisers Hyderabad on April 21 and Kolkata Knight Riders on April 23.

Ben Stokes Injury Update

Ben Stokes is reportedly watched daily, according to Stephen Fleming. He’ll be available to play for CSK soon. For a few weeks, Deepak Chahar will be unable to work. Mathisha Pathirana of Sri Lanka is most likely to take Sisanda Magala’s spot in the starting lineup for the upcoming game. It will be intriguing to see if Pathirana plays in Monday’s encounter against Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL 2023. Ben Stokes’ availability for selection will be anticipated by CSK supporters.

Chennai Super King’s next match is with Royal Challengers Bangalore on the 17th, in such a situation the team will try to hit the ground with their best playing XI.
